| 1. | Complete an application. Keep a copy for your records. |

| 2. | Mail a completed application to: LGBS, 40 S. Main, # 2250, Memphis, TN 38103, Attn: Tax Sale. |

| 3. | Within 60 to 90 days from application, you will receive a letter or email notifying you of the status of your target property in the tax sale process. |
|
| 4. | Approximately 30 days prior to the sale, you will receive notice of the time, place and location of the sale, and the minimum bid amount for your target property. |
|
| 5. | You must attend the tax sale and bid on the property. Good luck! Remember: the tax sale is a public auction. |
|
| 6. | If you succeed with a winning bid, you must pay the entire bid amount, by cash or cashier's check, to the Chancery Court Clerk within 24 hours of the sale. |

| 7. | Approximately three to six weeks after the Tax Sale the Order Confirming the Sale, Divesting and Vesting Title will be Ordered by the Court. The Redemption Period begins to run on the date this Order is entered. |

| 8. | If you purchase property, you will receive an Order Confirming the Sale, Divesting and Vesting Title by US Mail approximately three weeks to six after the Tax Sale. |

| 9. | You may request a Deed from the Clerk anytime after the Order Confirming the Sale, Divesting and Vesting Title is entered. (It is always a good idea to file your deed with the County Register.) |
